3D models available soon
Hi everybody,
Those of you who remember me when I was really active here, will remember that most of my designs were done in 3D/CAD. You might also remember that after several attempts at manufacturing, I lost virtually everything, and have had to completely start my life over from zero.
At the time, because I thought we were going into a manufacturing process, it was very important to protect those models, and so I never distributed them. Now, that seems silly, so I've decided to make some of them available, so I can afford food. (!) As soon as I can figure out a way to protect them from piracy, I'll make the following 3D models available: (All were designed at a certain scale, but since they're computer models, it would be easy to scale them to the size you need.
• Piaggio "Avanti" P180
• Berkut/Long EZ
• J-48 2-meter Pattern design
• J-46 STOL/Trainer type
* The King Air and J-47 sport jet will not be available for sale.
• Some non-airplane models will be available too, for the truly geeky.
These will be at about 1/3rd the price they would normally sell through, via Digimation. (no more than $300 for the most expensive models, and as little as $25 for the simpler models) So, keep an eye out for the announcement on my site at http://www.nextcraft.com
Thanks everybody, and best wishes with your own projects.

RE: 3D models available soon
did you ever make a flying model of the Kingair for yourself?
I had talked with you several years ago when I was thinking of building a B200....

No.
This project ended when we ran out of money for further development. (CAD work finished, and plugs about 2/3rds of the way finished.)
