I'm looking for someone who can fabricate the landing gear for the Zirolli 100" Stuka. Material is 1/4"piano wire. Willing to pay for time/labor/materials. I can provide the parts template from the plans if needed.

robart makes struts for that plane that are cheap. the robart number is ZSTUKA i think 160.00 for the pair. your going to need the cushion of the strut. there is a set at my local hobby shop that the guy never came to get, i'm sure he will sell at cost just to get them gone. i'll check into it.

The problem though, is that my wing is all built up and glassed with the L/G blocks already mounted for the 1/4" wire set up. If I went with the Robart struts, I'd have to do major surgery on the wing to add the mounting blocks for the Robart configuration.

i have a k&s wire bender, i'll look at the plans and see what will be involved to build them. it may be a few days before i can get over to todds to look at the plans. jeff
