Aluminum stock resources needed?
I'm scratching a project and I'm starting with the gear. I need a supplier of metal products that sells small items and stock. I need aircraft aluminum "flat" stock.
I did have one supplier but lost his adderss.
Can anyone help?

look in the Yellow Pages for local metals suppliers
You need to know what grade of aluminum you are after. "Aircraft aluminum" is not descriptive enough. You probably want 6061-T6, which is by far the most common grade in rolled sections, but be sure.

What width? I have 1 inch x 1/8 thick 6061-t6 that i would be willing to sell you a few pieces. I have 12' lengths and can cut to whatever length you want. Send me a PM. Chris

I need at least a 12 X 12 if not more. Plus the stock has to be .25" thick.
I'm building three sets of retracts.
However, I may need a few tidbits. I'll let you know.
