aileron reflex
Gentlemen,
I have built a "wild thing" from a MAN print. The print calls for reflexing the ailerons up 1/16" to make it trim better.
I have done this. I plugged this configuration into my pc and it does trim out quite well. Plugged in w/o reflex does'nt trim well and drops like a lead balloon on glide path. Am thinking the reflex is to correct zero incidence on hor.stab. Any thoughts on reflexing ailerons??

RE: aileron reflex
Actually adding some reflex to the ailerons will tend to angle the overall wing's incidence in a negative direction. That also reduces the wing to stabilizer angular decalage. But as long as the wing is at an angle that it lifts in a stronger way than the stabilizer it's all good.
