Default Wing,Tail,Engine incidence


How do you detirmine the correct incidence for a shoulder wing plane. I need to find the incidence for the wing,tail and engine for a plane I am designing. ......Phil

This is sort of a mult-faceted question, which is best handled via the folks at the Aerodymanics forum.

Much resolves around the intended use, the powerplant, the airfoil, the total weight, etc.

Not a simple formulae question to answer.

Phil, If you are starting from scratch, you can not go wrong with everything set at zero offset and incidences. You should be able to survive your first flight and make any adjustments after that. Dan.
