Default New Challenger III Construction Site

Hi guys...

At the Toledo show this year I purchased a set of plans for the 69.5" Challenger III based on Miles Reed's 93" Challenger II design. I'm relaly pumped about this awesome plane and am bulding TWO at the same time...

One to fly and one to sell to help pay for mine.... so come by and take a look at your next plane being built!

Default No Problem...

Glad it's of use. I love to build and I love to share. I have learned SO MUCH from RCU and other internet sites that I just can't imagine not having it out there...

These types of build-thrus are my way of giving back...

Stay tuned... some good stuff on tailfeather construction will be up later today...

Mordib, Just built a symmetrical wing from scratch for a trainer I have. You gave me the gusto to try it out and maybe I'll post a picture of the completed wing. Thanks alot for your page and insight.

Default Cool...

Yeah... post a pic. There's nothing prettier than a wing in the bones.

Glad you like the site... I've got one of the upper wings done now, and am forging thru the alignment process.

Man, you seem to have to reduce everything so low that it looks like crap. Any suggestions?

Well you can have it up to 700x700 size and 70K in size...

All mine are usually just under that and filesize of 40 or less...

Looks like you are trying to get it under 70 BYTES not 70 Kilobytes

Usually Jpeg compression at around 50% is very decent....

Like this one... the covering scheme!

One more, it can be addicting. Had to wait a week for balsa from Balsa USA. LHS too expensive. What I paid LHS $25 for I got for $9 at BUSA.

Default Last one for now.

I am putting 2 dowels in for wing hold down strength. How should I go about making the dowel reciever and wing bolt blocks in the fuse?

Mordib,
I saw the pics of the servo areas in the wing, but do not understand how the servos will go into these areas. I am still new to this and have to build to servo bays in my wing. I need to know if I need hatch covers or what. What do you do?
