Hi Guys
Fantasticx MQ-9. I see that if requested plans are available in DXF. Could I grab them as I have been working on my own and am not 100% convinced they are right. I was just about to fire up the laser to cut them but would rather use these if I could. Anyone that could send a copy to [email protected] or [email protected] would be great.

ok, been a while now.. sorry. It is so frustrating that when you "gift" people plans for the plane you worked so dam@ hard on, and leave them with instructions to "not use them for personal profit or gain", and they do it anyway, it pi@@es me off!!! sorry to all but the plan sharing is over. I am having to deal with this guy and undo what he's done and trying to do.. I knew inside my little brain that there was a chance this could happen, but should have known better. On a brighter note however, I have regrouped, and have time to try to finish what I started. I will finish the bird, and then if anyone want's one after its molded and complete and test flown for worthiness, than mabe I might sell some.. Got to get more legal advice on this whole thing first... fun times...[:'(]

No Worries. I actually managed to get something started of my own in 1/8th scale which is coming together well. I will probably make this comercially available when I'm done also. Lots of nights studying photos of the real thing and tracing over them in CAD to get the right shape.

There are plenty of schematics for the Predator available on the net.
Maybe you could try and trace them out yourself as FLYBABY6 does not want to give them out any longer...

You are 11 and you want to build a 1:5 scale predator? OK...
You should buy or find a 3D model on the web as I linked to, then take plans from that....
Or are you looking for plans printed out on paper...
I doubt you'd be allowed to fly a giant scale model like this at your age anyway...
But good luck and I hope you can work out how to do it yourself... It's not too hard if you really try.

Sorry, but I won't give out my "plans". However, am still working on my model, and have the wings sheeted, as I don't know if I want to mess with molding them too yet. The top half is glassed, and am working on the bottom now. I forgot how much I disliked foaming in the ribs[:@].. So when all is done, I will let those interested know. Also, then will I post pics of the rest of the build. I think I got too carried away at the beginning, and don't think mass producing these will be in my future. I have too many things in my life, and not much time to do any of it. I still owe one person a complete plane, as he was with me from the jump during my stent on DIYDRONES. Sorry to disappoint some of you.

Hello, the plane is coming along as has been its usual progression.. But I'm proud of myself for not quiting, even though my life flipped and flopped over and over. Still not done, nor am I willing to send out DXFs. Well, unless you are tommy from TMMY and want to trade for a 35%cessna!!
J/k.. I wish.. Anyway, People have finaly calmed down with my slowness, and lack of plan sending, so that makes it easier on me to come back to RCU forums. So, when it's at a point that I'd like to show pics of the progress, I'll plop them on this page.. Thx for your interest, and have a great day!

And it is large enough for what everyone is wanting to do with it @ 8' wing span. Also with it is a semi-functional turet under the nose for the camera system you choose. It's meant for electric power, and can glide very well. It was been tested and modified already and I'm betting it's what everyone will soon be buying!! Also, my thread is now done for me. The Predator that we all have been waiting for has finaly arived and I'm so happy that a better version of the original 3 footer is out there available to the general public. I will post my personal original 14' span version when I eventualy finish it. So I hope you all have found what you were looking for and I wish you all the best of luck!!! farewell to you all!!!
