Default Plan building, cutting out pieces

Ive only done one plan build so far but the big thing that worried me was the thickness of the drawn lines
When cutting from plans, do you cut to follow the exterior or interior of the line?
If there's an internal profile cutout, again do you cut to keep the line in or remove it?

thanks

Cut outside of the line. Then sand down close to it. By leaving the line you can be sure of the correct shape of the piece, i.e., that you have not removed too much material.
