Default Robart #677 1/2" Trailing Link

Hi All,

Has anyone had any experience / any further information on the Robart 1/2" Trailing Link struts?
http://www.robart.com/RoboStruts/drawings/677.pdf
http://www.robart.com/RoboStruts/500_Series.aspx

Specifically, I want to know, how far can i cut the tube back?

I have looked on the dimension drawings, but it does not have the min length of cutoff as per other strut dimension drawings.

I only ask, as i am trying to figure out of these would suit my scale application (in the design phase at the moment).

I am hoping i can use them with LADO retracts, or Robart retracts retrofitted with LADO actuators...

Thanks!

Call Garry at Robart. He will find out for you. I have had them send me reduced length and increased length struts for many years. They will make any length you want. It will take a while and it will cost you more for the custom work but they will do it and it will come out good. I have even had local machine shops and weld shops do the same for me. Dan.
