Default Plans for AT-6

I would like to build a 60 to 85 inch AT-6 from either plans or a kit...I have an 83 inch Midwest AT-6 (already built) and the plans but the plans are not suitable for reproducing another plane..No former or ribs..(advice- trace out the formers and ribs from your parts before you put the plane together in case you or another want to scratch build from those plans) I am not interested at all in ARF or RTF and I was caught off guard by the lack of kits available now days...I cancelled my subscription to "Model Airplane News" because it only catered to ARF and RTF people. My 83 inch Midwest AT-6 has been dropped! I'm venting now..I have tried all the plans providers and can't seem to come up with anything in that range...Help...Thanks

Traplet in the UK offer Brian Taylor plans which are a bit larger than you are seeking but worth looking in to. IMP Scale also have a T-6 about the same size as your Midwest kit.

I reduced both Harvard (RCN) plans for laser cutting of fuselage and ribs etc. a few years ago via Bob Holman. Not a big seller. He is getting parts via Tony of Unitraks in the UK.

Thanks alot...I tried Impscale and their web site must have been under construction as it would't direct you to the plans section...Traplet does have a 68" plan I may be interested in..Haven't tried RCM yet but will...Thanks

Top Flite had a kit that is discontinued. You might find one on ebay.
For plans, check RCM plans number PL512 62" wingspan for .60 to .90 engine
MAN magazine has one 60" span. Look for plan X05702.
Oh, yeah, Royal/Marutaka made a kit in this size range, too.

I think I have tracings of the die cut parts for the Midwest AT-6. Let me know if your interested in copies. BTW Wing mfg sells the canopy if you need one.
