Default Need Help With Retractable Nose Gear set up.

Hey guys I am in the planning stages of building a giant shrike. I doubled the 40 size plans wooo hooo. I need some ideas on how to mount the nose wheel retract. Planning on a DL55 for power retracts and removable wing panels. Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated pics would be even better. Happy building Skyflyer.

Default RE: Need Help With Retractable Nose Gear set up.

I use late model retracting gear on my model recreations. But, have found it is paramount to maintain the wheel base, and then tilt the firewall or move it altogether, which is the attaching place in order to obtain the required wheelbase. Thus avoiding any unsuspected ground handling incidents. On one A/C I had to move the cockpit floor some in order to make clearance then too.
