I desided to leave aside the fuselage for the moment, in order to begin the wing.

The first thing to do was to fotocopy the plan so that I don't have to ruin the prototype,
and then I developed the mirror of the plan for the other side.
I find that the easy way to get the whole wing plan.

Then it was time to cut the ribs patterns and glue them on ply and balsa.
I'm using a 4mm ply as shown in plans for the midle section of the wing and balsa for the outer.
The ribs. port and starport are cuted together so I didin't have to performe the task twice.

After the test fit it was time for some building.
First I put the T.E. in place and then the main spars.
When I thought that it was ok I glued them with cyano and let them to cure.
Then it was the time for the L.E. It is from a 10mm thick balsa spar and it is
a little bigger in height in order to sand it in shape later.
To make it a little stronger I added shear webs.

Hey RAMFlyer thanks for the good word and I'm looking forward to your project.

Well the second wing is done too so just before the skin job, I just couldn't help my self.
So here's how it looks.

looking very good. What are you planning to use for power? Mine has the Moki 1.80 and has hit 114 MPH.

Beautiful plane. What is it covered with? The finish on the cowl looks great in the picture.

That's a great looking project coyote. And your intended engine will make it all that much more appealing as the sound in the air should be amazing.

Thanks a lot BMatthews
I bet not only the sound of the engine, but also the looks of it, adds a better scale view than a dummy engine.
I just hope that it's going to be enough power, coming out of that engine to support the needs of that
airplane. I guess we'll have to wait and see..

Can you advise the size of the cowl please? I am interested to run an OS FR5-300 Radial in an H-1. This is ~9" diameter over the valve covers.
thanks

The size of the cowl is at it's max point 28,5 cm. I think it's 11,22" I guess it should be ok with your 9" Radial.
Mind you that the shape of the cowl is like a bell.
Ihope I could help and sorry if I cept waiting.

Thank's renamint

I'm expecting to finish it too. But before the videos lets put some pics from the scin job of the wing.

To cover the wing I used 3mm balsa and glued it with cyano.
