Default MLG Placement

Hi,

I am getting ready to start building a Sky Star 100" low wing model.

The plans show only a Taildragger configuration.

If I decide to modify the configuration to Tricycle, then where in relation to the CofG should I place the main Landing Gear.

Thanks for any help.

The maingear needs to be behind the c/g, maybe an inch or two, probably no more. Too close to the c/g and it'll easily tip down on its tail in a breeze, too far makes it slightly more difficult to rotate for take-off.
