building form 3 view's and a ruler
I like building from 3 view's, finished the flying flea last week and started on a Fairchild KR21 bipe. standoff scale, stand off 20 feet and it looks scale

Both aircraft look real nice. I do the same but I get several three views of the same plane import them into my AutoCad and go to town from there its a lot of fun

Just when I start worrying that there's not enough actual designers and builders in this new ARF dominated age someone like you comes along and confirms that there are still people that value skill and bench time.
Both models look fantastic. More pictures would not be a bad thing...

I always thought that building by plans was like painting by numbers. Everybodys looks the same. Had my time with kits and arf's . i really enjoy making them from just a picture.

Welcome to the 3 Vu club. sure is nice to do what you want to your scale. it opens the door to hundreds of planes to model to your size, 20" to 100". also lets you order balsa by the bulk box. lone Star is my favorite. yell if I can help. dick stamm
