Exhause Manifolds
Hi all ...
I am scratch building a SE-580 warbird. What I am looking for is a couple of sets of exhaust manifolds to dress up the nose area. The Manifolds look like a corss between the stacks for a P-51 and a P-40. That is to say, the pipes are round like the P-51 but they are angled like the p-40. I suspect that the P-51 stacks would be good. Does anyone have an idea where I can get a couple of sets of exhaust stacks? The size of my model will be somewhere between 1/7 and 1/9 scale. Thanks!!

Why doncha make 'em? Some brass tubing and sheet stock, a soldering iron, maybe a tubing bender, and you're all set! If they don't need to be functional, aluminum tubing and JB weld can work wonders. You're doing a scratch build, so you already have the skills and desire to create. Give it a try!
