Are there any plans out there for a 1/6 scale Lockeed Altair? Just saw one for my flight simulator and thought it might be a good plane to build.

Go here: http://www.geocities.com/CapeCanaver...716/Page3.html Download the plans for the Lockheed Sirius 40 in DXF. Take any CAD package and scale it to whatever scale you need. Scratch a turtle neck on it and Lo and Behold! An Altair. Move the canopy to the front and stretch the turtle neck and you get an Orion. Move the wing to the top of the Fuselage and add a windscreen and you get a Vega. Take the Sirius, make the wing into a parasol and you get the Air Express. Remove the front cockpit from a Sirius extend the tig tips out and your left with .... oh... I can't remember its name. I think you can also get the plans from Cleveland Model and Supply. Those old Lockheeds were like Play Dough. Hope this helps! |
