Too bad Rich is shutting down his parts business as far as the Pitts is concerned. After exchanging PMs, I sent him payment and, to my surprise, received my parts in less than a week. Doesn't get any better than that but, unfortunately, I need to find landing gear to fit as well as obtain an engine. I've already decided to go with a DA-50 for power so does anyone have any ideas on what to use for the landing gear?

Hello

I have one kit I'm willing to sell

Kit includes All formers and Ribs, Cowl, Wheel Pants, alluminum landing gear, alluminum wing struts, canopy and printed plans.
This was purchased directly from Gundersonaerodesign.com when it was still in bussiness.

Required to complete is all stock stringers and sheetting along with all the electronics and miscelaneous stuff.

Kit is beatifully laser cut.

Been sitting collecting dust for a while so I thought someone else could enjoy it.

All you guys looking for plans files, you should know that a while back there were plans and short kits offered.

About late last summer or fall as I recall -last year in any case, the plans owner/short kit builder sent an email to all of us on his email list saying sayonara - no more Pitts. End of the trail. No more anything.

Prior to that, plans were readil and freely available from him.

So those who's got, got and those who don't, don't.

I had the plans until a computer wipe out fixed that problem. So now I'm in the same boat as the rest of you.

As I recall, there are also a couple of videos on You Tube of a chap flying his copy of the plane with a 50cc engine.

Due to health issues I quit building and flying my planes a few years back. This past Christmas I spent money for a plotter that I have wanted for a number of years that would allow me to print out plans. A surprise bonus to the software I bought has the ability to import the PDF format plans and print them out. So far I still need more work to learn all that is needed to print a complete sheet but each time I have a go at it I am getting better. Also I can save the PDF format to DXF format but have yet tried it out to see if the drawings come out 100%. After I feel comfortable and not just wasting time I will try to help others out.

A quick question. Do you or maybe someone reading this tread happen to know what brand and size Landing Gear the Spirit Of Pitts M12 was designed to use? I've looked over the plans and instruction's! Didn't see a lot of info on the topic.

Hi,
I Meant to ask, Does anyone have the Laser Sheet for the M12 in .pdf or .dxf format, I know at one time there was one available, If there is, Could I please get a copy? It would make my scratch build a lot easier!
