Hello, I just flew my donald 4 seaplane for the first time Saturday, it flew great, a little sensitive on the throws, flew fast.

THe battery tray directions are a nightmare, it is more of a jig saw puzzle, just lay out the pieces and try your best.

I have found that if you use some Spray foam that is low expanding, and 100% water proof, it works wonders in supporting the battery tray, and also to lock the pushrod tubes in place so they dont flex.

As for the engine mount, I designed my own out of bass and plywood, to mount my asto 05 cobalt motor. I dont have any pics to show you, sorry.

Hi Bill, thank you for the info/reply on the D4, I agree the batt. tray is nearly impossible to make sense of, your idea to use expandible foam hit the nail on the head, it will not only add strength but it will also act as a glue and it floats. I decided to use a piece of light fiberglass plate for the batt. and the servos.

Happy flying,
