Using the rule of thumb of taking 75% of the fuselage length measured from the prop thrust washer to the rudder hinge line, it looks like 26" floats would be the correct size.

Yep, and Seaplane makes ultra-light foam floats that would be ideal for the E-Powered cub.  See his website at www.planefunfloats.com

I bought mine from Horizon hobby little pricey but really nice floats. I don't have a picture but I'll get one.

Horizon Hobby glass floats are expensive & heavy 28oz.

I just did some 24" floats they weighed 4oz with carbon fiber spars & spreaders.

I was a little nervous about the weight when I received them.... But it was unwarranted... It still loops with ease and still fly at just over half throttle, with ease using the stock motor 25 with the upgrade they suggest to a 32 it would scream off the water.
