Hi!
It isn't much to build really as the Kyosho kit is ready built and all you have to do is put the wing halves together, mount the engines and put the radio in.

Hi!
I recommend OS LA .15 (or FT) engines and APC 8x5 props.
I use 5% nitro and 15% all synthetic oil (Motul "Micro").
Servos are: Aileron Hitec 85, Elevator and side rudder JR Nes 801 (31 years old). Throttle is Hitec 85.

I use no water rudder!
Taxies fine despite that.

Well, this is not news you will like hearing, but a PBY seaplane is a pretty bad choice for beginners, assuming you have no flying experience. PBY models have a few slightly quirky flight characteristics. I have a good bit of experience on several different sizes of PBY R/C models, rading from 51" to 120" in span.

But, perhaps you have some flying experience with ready to fly models and this is the first ARF you have tried to build?

Do you have any flying experience at all?
