Default Berkeley Custom Privateer

Hello,
I saw a Berkeley Custom Privateer listed for sale on the auction site. I was wondering is anyone has built one and how it flys. It says it has a 114" wingspan, THAT IS BIG!!!

Thanks
David

Hi David,
WOW I have never actually seen a kit of it before. I have seen some pictures in old mags my dad had. Back then the planes had to fly well, no radios to help hide design flaws.

Wasn't this also called McGovern's Monster. I know I have a set of plans for that. It seems like without looking at them again, the wing tips folded down to make the outboard floats.
