Plans or drawing for this ?

    Hi to all,
I'm new in RCU from Bulgaria, so sorry for my english.
I will try to build semiscale model of KAI's "Yamal" or "Angara", but can't find any drawings for him.Only a few pictures of him.Any piece of info will be appreciated. Think to make models 1/12 or 1/16 scale.
    Thanks in advance.

What were you thinking of for a power plant for that. I looks like it might be difficult but with todays electric motors, there might be a long skinny brushless that would work.

    To LADISLAV :
Thanks for pics ,will try to create scale plan from them.

    To  ByLoudDesign :

Thanks for support- yeah i see that there is not much of them. Your Do-24T is perfect masterpiece. Just Perfect !!!
     To flybyjohn:

At the present moment i don't think about power plant - seems that this will be serious challenge. Before couple months i start to work on 4blade VPP for Be-12 Mail in 1/25 scale. As the Yamal's propeller is 6 blade constant pitch and Angara's is 3 blade VPP will be good brainstorm

    nnn1972,

I draw full size builder's drawings from small 3-views, just like the 3-views seen above.

Any scale any size and accurate to the drawing.

Let me know if I can help you?

    Nice aircraft to model.

Thanks for the offer . If I can't handle with drawing i will ask you for help and support.
As for the planes - at the present got more drawings and pictures of him, also seems that Yamal got bigger brother - Yamal 2 . Both planes have propellers with variable pitch but variable system is centrufugical - it meants that pitch depends of revolutions , right ?

Usually the engine runs at the best economical RPM for the operation and the prop changes the the power or speed needed for the mission!

No , that's isn't right. Here is the drawing of propeller head - in technical documentations is written that propeller change his pitch depends on load and revolution per minute between 24—44 degrees.

I wonder why you ask the question, if you had the documentation?

You bet. Even photos work for really simple shapes with mostly flat surfaces, like the Loening XSL-2.
The subject here really isn't that complicated of a subject either, with a pretty straightforward shape. Looks a good bit easier than something like the Saro A1.
