Vintage R/C PBY 108" Build
Hello everyone,
I am currently working on building a PBY based from the Vintage RC Plans I have blown the plans up by 247% and had Pat at LaserCut USA cut all the parts out. I am looking for building advice as I have not tackled anything this large before. I am also looking into using divny cell core with carbon fiber and Kevlar for the center wing section as well as the landing gear bulkheads for strength and weight savings. Any ideas or comments would be appreciated
Thank you

So far I have a few wing ribs done. I am wanting to make the two hull ribs F5 and F8 as one piece the problem I have is looking at the plans it shows them bent slightly when they join the hull. Photos from other people building the same plane show that section as straight. Also with seeing the plane I noticed the wing is pitched up a few degrees. So can I make these pieces one solid piece all the way into the wing or do I need to make a bend. Any help or opinions are welcome

You might want to look at this thread:http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/seap...-sweitzer.html
he has gotten quite a ways into the build and I'm sure he will be more than glad to answer any questions you have. the build is also over on:
