Thumbs down Grumman Goose Qustion

I have a friend who is building a Grumman Goose and he is wondering about the amount of dihedral in the wing. Does anyone have plans or other information that can confirm if the airplane had any anf if so, how much?

Thanks for any help...

Curt

Hello Curt!

Per the book “Grumman Goose’ by Steve Ginter - the wing dihedral for the full-size Grumman Goose was 2-1/2°

Hope this helps.

Huum,,, is that actual dihedral or just the angle created by the taper?

It's chord line to chord line. As far as three views are concerned, there's no telling what is correct. Dan.
