As another float newbie, I've got to second your opinion! I've been having so much fun with it I haven't flown a land plane for the last seven trips to the field (of course that's not permanent). All I've flown is my float plane since I got it all together.
Glad you're having fun. Your pictures do it justice, I can picture myself on that dock. There's something about running the plane on the water...watching it settle and glide to a stop on landing. The water handling almost feels like flying itself. And the setting is so cool. Bah! I don't have any good words to describe it.

This dock is actually on the back of my property. It has taken up every weekend for the last month but it was worth every minute of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brian welcome to the wonderful world of float flying. when you get that thing touching down where you want it! Wheels landings can almost be done with your eyes closed! LOL just gotta listen real close for the engine sounds! J/k
