This is my new Senior Telemaster on floats with a Magnum 80 4 stroke.

This is my new Senior Telemaster on floats with a Magnum 80 4 stroke.
It looks good. However, I believe the floats are maybe a little short. They should be 75 to 80% of the plane length from the prop drive to the rudder post. If the tail sets too low in the water, that is probably the problem. Good luck with it and keep us posted.

I have flown a SrTele from the water for several years. It's fabulous. It's so light you will get away with the short floats, altho' mine are 45" long and my plane (with OS.90 4-stroke) weighs 10 pounds, RTF with floats.

I think I liked the look of the yellow floats better. What size were they and how long are the new ones?

They are the same floats. 60 size 42 inches. Next week I will put some yellow trim and anti Nutria spots. I put a camera on it to spot alligators.

I think if ya look closely you can see the holes where the shotgun pellets
went thru when Boudreaux and Thibodaux shot at it. They thought it was
some kinda funny looking duck.

Need advice!! getting thoughts of putting my 14 foot Flying Qaker on floats. need design help. the Bay of St Louis, in front of the house is getting to me. my Playboy on floats experiment is faultering. dick
