The Fat Albert plane looks great. I was an Airframe Mechanic and Painter with the team 1952-1954. I saw all the beautiful models on this site and I thought that the Sea Cat might not be good enough to be with this site!!

Sea Delta twin. My flying buddy Carl "Flaps" Laffert and I took a Diamond Dust kit and widened it by 12" and added a second engine. After flying it for a few years, we mounted floats. This is the result.
Power is two OS .46LA engines. Flies good on floats, too.
The last photo was taken after the successful test flight.

Ed,
That's an interesting setup for the water rudder. Is that of your own design? Most of the ones I've seen are just stuck on the rear of one float.

RE: Seaplane pictures
Howdie guys,
I just finished my first float plane project. Actually, I've had this LA Racer .40 from World Models for a while. Purchased Super Flying Models floats from Horizon Hobby last week. Did it all in one Saturday. I am taking this baby to Lake Camanche in CA on a camping trip in two weeks with my family and friends. I hope she flies well.
Cheers to all!

Luker, just make sure you have enough vitrical stab area. you need about 10% of your wing area. i had to add a sub rudder to my citabria i'm about 12% now.
now it flys stright

42etus,
The floats are fiberglass and came with that water rudder. There was a tube already through the float at that point. In addition, the rear of the floats is slanted forward, which makes mounting a water rudder back there hard.
You are correct in that all my other planes have them on the rear. This is the first time I have seem one like this, mounted near mid float. Seems to work.

Here is my old Falcon 40 kit with some home made floats. It was my first trainer, several years later I converted it to a float plane. It is not scale at all to any plane, but it works pretty good for what it is
