Default Water proof my Pondside!!

Hello All, can tell me the best way to waterproof my New Pondside?
Is just covering enough? This is my first attempt at "WET" flying and would love the info.

THINK SPRING!!!

On my Puddlemaster I used a small paint brush and sealed all the Monocote seams with clear nail polish.
No leaks.

I like to brush a coat of balsarite inside everything just to water proof the wood a bit.

Good idea. I used water based polyurathane on the inside.
