Default I Have A Neptune On It's Way To Me

I ordered a new Neptune ARF kit on Sunday

It should be here anytime now, and my Father ordered a new OS-46AX for me from Tower (he gets all those old fart discounts) just kidding Theirs a guy at our local pond that has one, it is a hoot watching him fly it. It has the best water manors ive ever seen, and he REALLY goes for it. He does these cool slides with it where it just barely touches the water and slides exactly like a dirtrack car!

He can whack the throttle from a dead stop in the water, and it's airborne in 6 ft., it's amazing!! I knew i had to have one after watching it fly. So i'll have that and the Falcon Trading Cessna for this years float-flys, can't wait

Minnflyer Hello,

I ordered it through QuickTech.com, on Sunday afternoon, it arived today, double boxed and in PERFECT CONDITION

Unbelievable quality, all lazer cut wood, perfect covering, not one wrinkle. I REALLY LIKE IT, i ordered the version 2 color scheme, you'll see on the site. It is an all white, with some very cool flame decals you install, and a strange looking green wavey stripe decal that runs down the side, but i'm undecided yet weather i'll install it or not.

As true serendipity, the engine (OS-46AX) also arived today from Tower PERFECT

Quicktech lists it on their site for 189.95, but when i clicked on the "buy now" page, i was VERY pleasently supprised to see the actual price was 159.95, SWEEEEEEEEET

Now i just need to throw it together and throw some servos at it, and the FalconTrading Cessna, and get BOTH these beautys in the air

When you install the mast, don't glue it in. Instead, pre-drill two holes and insert cap head wood screws 1 inch long with big flat washers through the rear bulkhead so the unit can be removed for repair or maintenance. You can also order a second mast and pod for a different engine.

Your Neptune sure looks like a seaMaster with a much nicer finish. I also have a Neptune but it is much different. fiberglass fuselage tapered, foam core wing and a pylon that's attached to the wing. The one I have is (was) made in Canada and could not be considered an ARF although the FG fuse sure takes a lot of work out of it. I'm anxious to try it this spring. I'll let you all know how it flys.

We love our Neptunes!!!!!!
Although they are a copy of the seamaster, they are much lighter, and DONT leak!!!!
Dont know wether I'd stand on one though, but the quality is great...

This one is powered by an OS32sx, and has plenty of power...

Looks like a great site, I like the taller wing floats on your Neptune.

I have a Neptune also. I didn't like the color scheme so I stripped and recovered to match our boat. I also installed the servos for the rudder and elevator in the back. I made a side force generator out of the engine pod mast with control serfase and servo. I powered it with a Evolution .46 and Mac's tuned muffler. When I stripped the covering from the fuse I removed 1/4lb of wood that didn't need to be there. I flew it for the first time a week or to ago, fly's great and is very fast. My wife drove the boat at max speed(45mph) and I flew the plane. !/4 throtle was faster than the boat. I have a battery back up system and two batterys/switches. Here are some pic's. I can send more if you want.
