1" or bigger? How about a local hangglider dealer. They sell airfoiled aluminum downtubes.
Failing that, a regular aluminum landing gear blank with foam airfoiled, glassed over, is another option.

Ryan at sea commander has what you need....most hobby shops have them but they don't have the needed strength for seaplanes, sea commanders are made from 6061-T6

I found the Sea commander site after I posted here. I emailed them and Ryan fixed me right up with a package price for the mounts and tubing.
