Default putting floats on avistar

Hi guys,

My neighbor bought an avistar and wants to put floats on it. the issue is that he doesn't have time to build from a kit before the float fly this month so he is looking for suggestions on good types of durable light weight floats that are pre built. which brands are best?he has GP float kit but he doesn't have time to build from a kit. any opinions will be greatly appreciated.

thanks, Brian

As jrf says, try Falcon Trading. Their floats are all ABS plastic and take very little time to get mounted. They also sell a trike nose mount kit so you don't have to figure that one out. ENJOY!!!!! RED

I suggest the FalconTrading, also. I put a set of them on my Avistar and I just love it. They track very well, are light, not very expensive, and quick and easy to mount, especially with Falcon's tri-cycle gear mounting system. Being a high wing the water rudder will help. Before you mount it, sand both sides a little so it will kick up. Works great, you're goin' to love it. John

go to www.hobbypeople.net to get the Falcon Trading floats. Falcon is not around anymore, but Hobby People is handling some of their items like the floats. Search for item #116030 and you will find them.
