Default Goldberg float kit - any tips, suggestions, warnings?

I got a kit to build the scale floats for my Aniversary Cub. Any hints, tips, etc before I start the kit?

Thanks!

I just picked this kit up as well and plan to start on them this weekend. Maybe we can at least compare notes

just follow the instructions......

make sure the blind nuts that are mounted inside have a backing plate, so that it is not possible to push them out of the hole (guess how I found this out.....). 2 oz glass on the bottoms; 3/4 or 1 oz on the sides and top...

The 2-56 linkage that connects the 2 water rudders together is a pain...it gets caught in the wake of the floats, and pulls the rudders out of alignment....after many years of trying everything except a scale pull pull system, I gave up and took one of them off. (then I tried the pull pull cable and pulley system and it works fabulous!)
