BUSA 1/4 or 1/3 Floats. Opinions, Pics?
I am concidering Busa floats for my sig 1/4 Cub and my 1/3 Super Cub. What are your thoughts and opinions about there floats. I know Sea commander is the way to go but for now I might try these. Are they A good float? Pleasure to build? or?
Let me know What you think.

I have seen both and both have their advantages. The Balsa USA floats are excellent. The float fittings are accurate and when finished properly, they look exactly like full scale floats. They ARE balsa and require building and attention. I have had customers finish them in fiberglass cloth and painted in silver. Other modelers walked up and asked how did you get the aluminum to form so well around the curves!! They also fly well. I have flown the 1/3 scale Cub on floats at Lake Havasu (Charlie Viosca's immaculate Cub) and they fly just like the full scale PA-18 on floats. I would highly recommend them.

Bush-
I just finished a set of 1/4 for my Cub. Can't give a flight report yet -- water still a little hard! But they were a great build and, as Chip says, they really look scale. Take your time on 'em and good luck!

Augie
I Received my 1/3rd set the other day and i have to say that they look like they will be a great build. I liked them enough to order a 1/4 set. I'll build the 1/4 set first as my SuperCub is ready for those now. I will post pics as i go.
