Actually Looking FOR a Sea Bird
I finally flew my e-converted Lanier Sea Bird the other day. It was off solid water (snow), but flew REALLY well - none of the bad habits I've been warned about. Unfortunately, I overran the landing area and slid (a LOT farther than I thought) into a fencepost, destroying the front 1/3 of the fuse (the ABS shattered into MANY pieces on impact).
If anyone has either a Sea Bird fuselage (or even a whole plane) they'd like to part with, let me know!
