Default Herr Aquastar questions.

I recently bought an Aquastar, a little rough, but complete and fully built. However, I didn't get the instructions or the plans. After a few hours of TLC, she was ready.

However, I have a few questions I was hoping to find answers to ...

Would anyone know the correct location for the CG as well as recommended throws for the rudder and elevator.

I flew it, it even ROW, but the flying characteristics are terrible ... so I know something is wrong.

Anything I should be aware of?

Thanks in advance ...

Default RE: Herr Aquastar questions.

I have one of these kits gathering dust under the bench. I just got it out and had a look. The information you are looking for is on the plans - no mention of it in the manual:-

CG is shown as on the centre of the mainspars. That measures 1 3/4" back from the front of the LE on the fullsize plan

Elevator throw is specified as 3/16" both ways.

Rudder throw is specified 5/16" both ways.

I trust this helps......
