It's a beautiful aircraft. How would you transport a 1/4 scale version? That's a 16'3" wingspan! Be tough on impossible to keep the weight with floats under 50 lbs (though that may not be a problem in Greece).

In another forum I saw that you just soloed.

I think you'd better get some flight time before tackling this project - also some water time on a less complicated seaplane.

It would be a shame to go through all the work of building that plane just to lose it.

As a beginner, you're trying to tackle water flying, AND twin engine flying all at once. these are both steps that should be taken individually first before attempting to do them both at once.

Sorry, I don't mean to rain on your parade, I'm just trying to keep you from making a very costly mistake.

rclaser,
Ambitious project indeed! Suggestion. Why not build an existing laser cut kit of the twin Otter by ordering the kit from

http://www.rtmodels.com/products/TwnOtter.htm

They offer the kit in both electric and glow versions with a 65" wingspan and 84"-86" ARF-ARC electric and glow versions. Will save you a tremendous amount of time.

Good Luck!
