Bills Ballanca you don't see too many of these
Thought I'd post some pics of a friends Bellanca Aircruiser/Airbus... He built it from some 3-views, has about a 7' WS and is powerd by a OS 91 4-strk... I thought it's a neat airplane and you don't see many of them around.. Although there were a set of plans for a .20 sized one in M.A.N awhile back.. I'm working on a 1/6 scale one (10'6" WS) but its gona be awhile till you see it finished and flying...

Ours was smaller for a .46 or .52 2-stroke. My buddy, Flaps Laffert, shown in photo, built the plane from Model Airplane News plans, as I recall, and I flew it. It never did fly straight, or groove in flight either as a land plane or seaplane. We never did work with it long enough to get the kinks out. It's been a couple of years, but I seem to recall he sold it for someone to display. It did look cool in the air.

Beautiful plane! I have the MAN plan and at some point in the future intend on enlarging it to a 60"-65" wingspan. A rare model indeed. Also called the Flying W when it was flying.
