Default Beaver Floats

I have the sea comander 42" gull wing floats. Would these fit the 8' beaver?

They should work fine for your Beaver.
I am doing a 8 ' Turbo Beaver and I plan on 44 " floats for it.
For years now I have used a measurement from the prop to the rudder line X .75 to give me the float length.
That has served me well.

Scale floats for a 1/6 size (8') Beaver are 44" long. If yours are 42" you won't notice a difference.

Cheers!

The Unionville 8 foot Beaver has a length of 59 inches. That's from the front of the cowl to the very back of the fueselage. I just received the kit yesterday and have started building it. Note that based on the build instructions, the cowl can be moved back and forward a bit, so the 59 inches can be adjusted by an inch in either direction.
