Dear Sir, I fly one with a 45 supertiger and it fiys like a dream. rolls, loops, just great. I think you will be OK. I fly all single Saitos and love the power. Bobby, cnic11

Go with a .65
My SeaMaster has a Saito 65 in it. I started with a trusty .56 but it just didn't have enough punch to lift it off the water. The .65 gets it up much better, especially off of still water.

I'm sure the 56 4 stroke will fly it but given the weight of the plane, it's not going to have very good climb.
The lakes I fly at all have trees around them so I went went with a TT61. With a 12x5 it has great climb-out.

seamaster arf power
We have 26 Seamasters in our club -almost all powered with either Saito or O.S 70's--perfect power for all maneuvers - slow rolls, rolling circles, point rolls, outside loops etc - put 2 degrees upthrust in engine (firewall,pylon, or washers) and it's dynamite
