Default posted some electric float flying..

Here is my buddys small super cub arf on gws floats (for the gws beaver) ...He is running it dead stock, motor, batteries etc. It flew some fairly long flights, I am guessing close to ten minutes per pack. The video is from his first few flights off the water with this plane. He was a little smoother near the end of the day, unfortunately I didn't film then as I was enjoying watching . He has no water rudder yet so the plane often had a mind of its own on takeoff. Also he found that he needed to get back into the power just before landing or he lost to much elevator control. When the throttle was worked just right later in the day he was able to pull off some scaleish landings, but as a whole the plane is so light the water REALLY slows it down when it touchs..hope you like the video !

Hi Foodstick, I recognize the venue---Co-Line Welding near Sully, IA. Was this the float fly on July 15th, 07? What great facility, all the amenities you could ask for. Hopefully we can have another fly there before the lake ices up.
