It looks like it was the flying around very nice and larger wing did definitely get you off the water quick Hope you get it back out there it's the landings that are really fun to watch on the water. One of my favorite things

I just have to bind again the back holder, so nothing serious. The struts are scale accessories only. I think that using a scale engine cover and spinner i will add some weight in front, that could work. I just had a word with a guy with 280cm sized one and the handling is the same like i felt. You have to turn around using rudder and compensate for drops. It's not a very neat plane to handle, but it's worth it.

so after checking with plane builder ->the stab angle is wrong - like it pushes down. has to be level with the tail top level. the stab-wing angle is ok, the engine angle is too up. so I just have to reset all of them ... and then it shall be neat

Correcting those two angles should tame the fight characteristics considerably.

My Stab angle was 5,5 deg, 10 deg on wing. Correct ones are 3 on the stab, 6 on the wing and engine. Side floats 10 deg and the end of floats level with basic line, that is the top fuse line on the tail section. The guy in rcm must have been high while making the plan.even the wing profile is somehow weird. I will post images in the morning ..

it probably could have flown with the original size wing if the angles were correct and the profile also ... I just waited for it to takeoff without pulling up on first takeoffs

I stripped down the elevator, put it level to 0 deg, moved front support a little backwards. Reset the connecting rods and put it on water to fly it. The hidden aileron controls are having to much play so it will need to be replaced by a standard lever. It flew ok while it flew tossed it over the top when crash landed into the water.

I had to reconstruct the aileron horns, the nifty hidden ones were too weak to that load on that length. My previous attempt fried the ESC so next time I hope all will be good enough to fly and land. Any ideas how to make ESC immune to water and still cooling ok?

Could you add a heatsink to the ESC?

but how does it help me with watertightness ?

today i went again to the lake and crashed in a spin, something is definitively wrong ... all was ok and then suddently it seemd like a stuck right aileron on max up, spinned down without control.
