It seems to be somthing wrong with Carstens service. Two times ordered plans for Spruce Goose (Mikulasko version) and they never processed this order. Mail are never answered. In the past ordered others plans without any problem.
Also have the 8 400 motors for this monster and the Becs and Lipos...and NO PLANS
Anybody knows what´s wrong with Carstens ?

Interesting that you would bring this subject up Baco. I ordered a set of plans about 1 month ago, their web site says about four to six weeks for delivery (!). I got the email confirmation but my account was never charged for the order. Looks like I'll give them a call.


UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just spoke with Lynn at Carstens. She related that they purchased a new printer at the beginning of the year and were having problems with the printer replicating some drawings and problems with the paper that they have been using with their older printer. I mentioned your situation and she was sure that she had sent plans out. She also mentioned that there is a problem with shipping to South America as a lot of stuff gets lost. If you like, you can reach her by the Carstens toll free number at 888-526-5365. I gave her your RCU user ID.

She also mentioned that she has responded to e-mail inquiries but has had problems with spam blockers, full mailboxes and the like. Give her a call, she will get them sent out to you.

When I pulled up the site it said 4 to 6 weeks. Wonder if the death of the founder has delayed orders.

Have you considered building the Robin Andrew's electric Spruce Goose? I considered others but when I compared the specs the Robin Andrews version seemed favourable. I have the plans and the build article, the plans are well drawn and the design is very straight forward and should be quite an easy and rewarding build.

Siddus, nice help !

Laddie´s Spruce Goose is a little bigger than Robin´s, but whit this behemoot is not really important. Also need an easy to build model not an scale competition one. Seems ther´s a not water based model, but with some extra work it will be ROW .
Seeing at the first page of article it´s also one of my favourites...SARO PRINCESS!
