Beautiful CL-215. Any chance of getting some details? I have a 76" W/S version under construction.

Tom,

Some really nice pictures there, what's the silver multi engine 3 rudder fin plane? What size was that? Was it brushless and do we know of the plan for that?

Thanks for posting.

Scott.

Great video, most enjoyable.
I am also especially interested in the details of the China Clipper (Boeing?)
I realize it was glow, but what size engines, wingspan and are plans around?
Thanks

Hi Tom,

Most excellent, video of the Clipper is great too. I see pontoon and tailhook 'Landings' made the cut.

CL-215 is from KMP - http://www.kmp.ca/product_info.php?products_id=171

Hi guys, glad you liked the slide show.

I am trying to get info on the Scooper, but not having any luck even finding the owners details. But I surf the internet a lot and I believe this is the CL215 that was sold by Nitro Planes a few months ago. It was electric powered and flew great. I have video of it and am waiting to find some owner info before I finish producing it.

The Boeing 314 Pan Am Clipper is a scratch built by a fellow named Tom Wolf. He is a member of the Santa Barbara R/C Club and was invited as a special guest to our clubs meet. I don't have any specs, but it was approximately a 10' wingspan and the engines are four strokes, probably in the 40-60 size range. It flew really sweet:

I unfortunately lost a lot of video when my new HDD camcorder malfunctioned and wiped out a lot of footage.[:@]

Missing are the portions of the flight where the Clipper is doing barrel rolls, and the landing.

Someone used to sell the plans on eBay as well. Done a search and came up empty.
Thanks for the info. I will look into it.

Hey Tom,

Those are some great shots in the slide show and a super great video. Was your FF this past wknd.?? We had our Hemet Lake FF this past wknd. which could explain how i could have missed your event. Sad, i never heard of your event as it looked like a great one for sure. We had a great time at the Hemet FF, and we were especially blessed to have a large scratch built Sproose Goose maidened and flown a number of times at the event.
