floats need a ride
I have a set of sea commander 42 in floats that I got about 7 years ago $184 at that time still new in the box. Will any how they are real nice floats that should have a nice plane to go on, I only use gas engines, no ARF planes so I would like to hear what you think would be some good planes for these floats. Thanks

1/6th scale Beaver would work,,, http://www.scalercmodels.com/civilianaircraft.html#uv9
What sort of aircraft are you into? Are you wanting a Kit or Plans?
Something with aproximately a 56" long fuse is what you're looking for. Typically the float length is around 75% of Fusalage length

RE: floats need a ride
I build my own and kits. I am building a senior telemaster righ now that I made with twin rudders with the servos in the rudders. I have another telemaster coming maybe I can put the floats on it. I have a big pond behind the house I fly off. I have one float plane that I have been workng on were I put the floats on the wing tips.

I have another one coming , I want to make it a twin engine 20CC gas, it will have a foam wing. After that I going to do a bi-wing senior with floats and twin engines.

Nice planes. The senior on floats looks like it flys great. What size engines did you use on your twin? Just looking at that lake it looks like it could be some good fishing.
