Default Enough Power For Floats?

I have a Carl Goldberg Cub with clipped wings. I added the build up floats, and covered the entire thing with super coverite and paint. Dosen't seem to be very heavy, but I am concerned about the required power. When I built it, I placed an OS 91 Surpass I on it, but during test running, it seemed like way too much, so I have replaced the 91 with the OS 61 four stroke, which looks much better, but will that be enough to fly the thing?

Default Enough power

I have a CG cub, but not clipped. I have the cub floats for it and glassed them to... I flew mine with an Enya 46 four stroke and it flew just fine. The vertical was nonexistent, but it puttered around the sky like a cub should. The 61 should be easily enough power..

if , with wheels, it will take off from grass, it has enough powerto fly with floats.

Floats have more frontal area than wheels, but a lower coefficient of drag due to their elongated near-teardrop shape.

Yup... I flew a bigger, heavier H9 cub with a Saito 56 with no problems. It was not very aerobatic, but it Cub'ed real nice!
