I don't recall finding any missing glue or particular weak areas. That being said, I usually go around as much as I can with medium CA and add triangle stock at the firewall if not already there....

Sorry, I don't use CA very many places. I build mostly with Titebond. It takes longer, but it's much more forgiving. The waxed paper works fine for that.
