I never do. I take the tank apart, chassis, remove tracks, turret, etc. Make sure all surfaces are clean, put on a coat of Tamiya primer, paint the tank.

I have both the Tamiya and Taigen. IMO, the Taigen doesn't compare to the Tamiya in the scale or looks department. It is a fine running tank however as is the Tamiya. I had an IBU2 and a TBS in it...

Hello Carl and welcome. Most would agree that the Tiger 1 track tension is correct when the track first touches the 3rd road wheel from the drive sprocket.
