Even though my JP controller is working fine right now, I have a Xicoy LG-15 controller on order. JP's quality is too questionable, especially for the expensive jets arena.

So those are from JP Hobby. I ordered direct via Turbines RC (https://www.turbines-rc.com/en/). To be fair, the struts and retracts themselves are great, just the brakes don't work.

Final answer..... replace with Electron wheels and brakes. Works perfectly. Those JP brakes are crap.

This is the solution, in my opinion. I have a 35lb Xcalibur+ that I converted to JP electric gear, and I have the same problem, no brakes at speed (same bigger wheels with the plates in the rims)....

I'll answer my own question, my trim setup on the radio was not allowing 100% on the throttle signal. Changed and now works fine.
