That I agree with, I have a friend who flies with the G-26 but no power to spare. I fly at 5500 ft and on a hot day a 35 is hard pressed to get off in a few hundered feet at this...

I am going to try, pending loan for fuel costs. It cost 500 round trip to Ok. ouch but looking forward to it in Dayton. Hopefully my Fok D VI and Pfalz D XII will be ready and flying by then...

I do not think it is too expensive to use,I use it for the weight savings and since I dont compete and fly at 5500' feet it just makes more sense.

AZ Models sells Lozenge printed on some close to Solartex, It costs a little but well worth it. I have it on several planes and working on putting it on my Fokker D IV.
