Saw this thread on truggies and stuff, just thought i might add my newest. Cut a chassis from 6061 3.2mm stock aluminum, used an ofna center diff and made a lot of parts. Check it out here.

RE: Which Monster truck? X-Factor, savage 25, savage ss, or t-maxx?

RE: Different Motor In A Genesis???????

heres the deal, the ttr .70 engine is not a direct fit, but can probably be modified to fit fairly easily. It does not have as high of rpm, but has much much more torque than the cen genesis stock...

RE: Is the Kyosho Mad Force a good hardcore off road truck?

Come on man, give me a break. I owned a madforce, which can most likely not be said for you. So, instead of bashing something that you probably know nothing about, why don't you keep your oppinions...

RE: Different Motor In A Genesis???????

There is not really any direct-fit engine that will produce more power than the stock engine. The only real direct-fit engine (still needs some creativity in the exhaust setup) is the hotbodies .46,...

RE: What Does Your Truggy Weigh?

Umm, it is a digital scale. You just set the tire on it, then press "zero" then set the truck on it. Really nothing complicated.

Oh, and back on the topic, My truggy (Ofna) weighs a little bit...

RE: Mad Force? T-maxx?

I owned a t-maxx for a few months, sold it because the damn piece of crap would not stop breaking and it had so many problems. First of all, I hate the tranny. This is something that idiotic...

RE: Official Truggy Thread

What we mean by "ground up" is it is not just a factory buggy conversion. Almost all of the parts on the lightning stadium are specifically made for that truck, rather than for a buggy.

RE: Mad Force? T-maxx?

Ok, dump the t-maxx of your list. This is purely my oppinion, but it is a piece of crap. I hate it. (I did own a t-maxx to those who think I am making a bogus inexperienced comment)

I owned a...

RE: Official Truggy Thread

The difference with the lightning truggy is it has extremely wide arms, and is pretty much built from the ground up. It has the truggy stance, but it is a pure race designed truck. My truggy is an...

RE: XTM four stroke

Get the o.s. .40 engine with the pullstart, it will not be a "direct fit" so a little modification is needed. I'm sure the x factor could fit it though. I have seen people that put the o.s. .40...

RE: Savage VS Raptor In an UNBIASED comp

Come on people, Nobody EVER sold a chassis design like the savage, with vertical aluminum plates for a chassis. Do not forget, longer wheelbase means wider turns, and that is not really good.... ...

RE: I am in need of help!

I think I will end up drilling out the heads of the screws, but it might damage my backplate, so I am a little sketchy. ThermalRD suggested to me when I chatted with him that I try JB welding an old...

RE: OMG!! 5000mah <7.2>volts battery. $44.99

The reason for higher temps is this: Higher amperage means more stored energy, so, if your car runs longer it will run longar and get hotter. I do believe higher amperage also itself causes higher...

RE: OMG!! 5000mah <7.2>volts battery. $44.99

They are C size cells, they are longer and thicker, and will not fit in the stampede battery slot without modification. It is not very difficult to achieve 5000 mah with c cells, and D size cells...

RE: 17mm savage hex conversion

The reason I did not buy those is this:

T-maxx axles are not the same as savage axles, so I would have to modify something anyways. So, what is the point of buying those hexes if I have to...

RE: 17mm savage hex conversion

It does not really need to be any wider, it is already 18.8" wide (arm level, outside of tire measured)

RE: 17mm savage hex conversion

I made some spacers to fit over the threaded shafts, (very inside of stock shafts are 8mm, same as ofna monster pirate hexes), so I just took some 17mm ofna hexes, ground off the back side of all 4,...
